The tiny tiles measure approximately 4.8 x 4.8mm and are 4.5mm thick, with a gently domed surface that reflects light beautifully. Their compact size makes them ideal for detailed designs, curved surfaces, outlines, borders and areas where larger mosaic tiles may be difficult to use.
Made from recycled window and bottle glass with mineral oxides added for colour, these tiles are an eco-conscious choice for indoor and outdoor mosaic projects. The colours are UV- and weather-resistant, helping them retain their appearance when exposed to sunlight and changing weather conditions.
The iridised finish is created by dipping the tiles into a mild acidic solution. Some tiles may have a white powdery residue from the production process. This is harmless and can be easily removed by soaking the tiles in warm, soapy water before use.
