Mercola Liquid Glass – Transparent Two-Part Epoxy Resin, 320g
Price is for 1 set (2 parts)
Create smooth, crystal-clear, glass-like finishes with Mercola Liquid Glass 320g. This strong, transparent, two-component epoxy resin is designed for casting, coating, embedding and decorative craft applications.
Once mixed, the resin and hardener produce a durable transparent finish with excellent adhesion, mechanical strength and resistance to moisture, temperature and many chemicals. It fills pores and gaps without shrinking, making it ideal for resin art, jewellery, decorative surfaces, moulds and mixed-media projects.
Use Mercola Liquid Glass to embed dried flowers, shells, stones, photographs, coins, beads and other completely dry decorative objects. It can also be applied to wood, metal, stone, ceramic, porcelain and cardboard.
The set contains 320g total of Component A resin and Component B hardener, supplied in the correct 100:60 mixing ratio.

How to Use
- Ensure the work area, tools, moulds and decorative materials are completely clean and dry. Remove dust, grease and moisture from the surface.
- Measure 100 parts Component A resin to 60 parts Component B hardener. Use an accurate scale or suitable graduated measuring container. Do not estimate the ratio.
- Mix manually and thoroughly with a clean, dry spatula or wooden mixing stick. Scrape the sides and bottom of the container until the mixture is uniform. Do not mix with an electric drill.
- Prepare only the amount you can apply immediately. Larger quantities and warmer conditions accelerate curing and can cause significant heat build-up.
- Pour the mixture into a prepared, leak-proof mould or spread it evenly over the surface with a spatula.
- Secure lightweight embedded objects so that they do not float or move during curing.
- Remove trapped bubbles carefully with a needle. Avoid excessive heat, as this can accelerate the reaction, produce additional bubbles or cause discolouration.
- Protect the project from dust, moisture and high temperatures while it cures.
- For layered applications, apply the next layer as the previous one begins to set, or allow it to cure before applying another layer.
- Allow approximately 4–6 hours for the initial set, 6–12 hours to become touch dry at 20°C, and 4–7 days for full curing, depending on temperature and layer thickness.
- Once fully cured, imperfections may be progressively sanded and polished to restore a smooth, glass-like finish.

Important Cautions
- Read the product labels and Safety Data Sheets before use.
- Intended for professional, technically experienced or properly supervised adult users.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Wear suitable chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection.
- Work in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing vapours.
- Avoid all contact with skin and eyes. Epoxy components may cause irritation or an allergic skin reaction.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
- Mixing starts an exothermic reaction that generates heat. Never leave a large quantity of mixed resin in a deep container.
- Mix only small quantities and apply immediately. Heat and temperatures above 25°C can significantly shorten the working time.
- If the mixture becomes unusually hot, begins smoking or shows signs of severe overheating, stop using it and follow the manufacturer’s emergency guidance.
- Do not add water or use damp tools, moulds or decorative materials. Moisture can cause cloudiness, bubbles and curing problems.
- Do not interchange the lids of Components A and B. Close both containers securely after use.
- Not recommended for continuous exposure to direct sunlight or UV radiation.
- Do not pour uncured resin, hardener or solvent into drains, soil or waterways.
- Dispose of unused product and packaging according to local regulations.
- Test materials on a small area before beginning the final project.
- This description does not replace the instructions, hazard label or Safety Data Sheets supplied by the manufacturer.
